As you know, the Dodd-Frank Act takes effect on July 21, 2011. At RouteOne we are happy to support you in your compliance efforts, not only with Dodd-Frank, but with all other requirements and regulations that affect your dealership. We’ve made the appropriate updates to our Adverse Action notices so that your dealership can rest assured that you’re meeting the requirements issued by Dodd-Frank. The following information is now required on all Adverse Action notices: the consumer’s credit score used to take the adverse action, the range of credit scores under the risk model used, up to four (4) key factors that adverse affected the consumer’s credit score (up to five (5) key factors if one of the factors is number of inquiries), the date on which the credit score was created and the name of the credit bureau reporting agency from which the credit score was obtained. We have added those fields to our notices, in addition to the previously required elements.
